Paramedics were called at 4:24am on 27 October to reports of a stabbing on Taunton Way, Stanmore, HA7.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4:24am today (27 October) to reports of a stabbing on Taunton Way, Stanmore, HA7. We sent an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority”.
The response involved an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer, alongside the trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance, which attended by car rather than by helicopter. The patient was treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.
The man’s age and condition have not been confirmed by the Metropolitan Police Service, and no further details about the incident have been released at this stage.
The report follows earlier disruption on Tuesday morning, when Taunton Way was partly blocked between Camrose Avenue and Collins Avenue while emergency crews dealt with the incident. The ambulance service has now confirmed the call was to reports of a stabbing.
Elsewhere in north London, detectives are investigating a stabbing in Finsbury Park in which a 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital and another boy of the same age was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
