U2 to play two Tottenham stadium nights in June 2027

U2 will play two nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in June 2027, the band has announced, bringing their Greatest Show On Earth tour to London for 18 and 19 June.

The band — Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jnr — will perform at the Tottenham venue after completing concerts in Paris, Lisbon and Amsterdam, as part of a European leg that begins in April with two shows in Stockholm, Sweden. The tour will also stop in Berlin and Milan, with dates for Spain yet to be announced.

Rock band Wolf Alice has been confirmed as the supporting act for the London shows.

Tickets and the tour so far

General sale tickets will be available from 10am on 6 November, following several presales. Fans hoping for the best seats will need to move quickly: the tour has already been expanded due to overwhelming demand, with additional shows planned in Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, and more North American dates still to be announced.

The Greatest Show On Earth tour was initially set to kick off in Latin and South America in February 2027. Its expansion into a longer run, including the two London dates, reflects the scale of demand for the band’s return to the road. Additional shows are planned in Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, with more North American dates still to be announced, and the European leg will take in Stockholm, Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Berlin and Milan before Spain’s dates are confirmed.

The announcement comes ahead of the release of U2’s 16th studio album, Carnaval De Luz, on 13 November — months before the tour itself begins in February. The album’s arrival gives fans new material to look forward to well ahead of the summer stadium dates.

The Edge, whose real name is David Evans, hinted at what comes after this tour, saying: “We can’t say too much about the next leg of The Greatest Show On Earth. We’re still figuring it out — but what we can say is, we’ll be wrapping it up in Ireland. There’s nowhere else we’d want to be for that party.”

No ticket prices were given in the announcement. What is confirmed is the sales timetable: several presales come first, with the general sale opening at 10am on 6 November for both Tottenham nights. Wolf Alice’s confirmation as support means both evenings open with a British band before U2 take the stage.

The band has also revealed plans for another leg of the tour in 2028, expected to conclude in Ireland — a homecoming finish to a tour that will have carried them across Latin America, North America and Europe.

A big summer for London’s stadiums

The two Tottenham dates add to a busy calendar for the capital’s biggest venues. London Stadium is eyeing 85,000 boxing crowds in a bid to cut losses, while Sutton United plan new covered stands as Gander Green Lane eyes a league return — a reminder that London’s stadiums, large and small, are all chasing the same summer crowds.

For U2 fans, though, the dates that matter are 18 and 19 June 2027, with Wolf Alice in support and the general sale opening at 10am on 6 November. After Paris, Lisbon and Amsterdam, the Greatest Show On Earth rolls into Tottenham.

The shape of the tour is now clear: Latin and South America in February 2027, Europe from April through the summer with London in June, and then a further leg in 2028 that the band says will conclude in Ireland. Tottenham’s two nights sit at the heart of that European summer, on a tour that has already grown well beyond its original plan.
