Phoebe Bridgers to top the bill at Victoria Park’s All Points East next summer

Published at 3:20pm

Phoebe Bridgers will headline next summer’s All Points East, becoming the first act confirmed for the 2027 edition of the Victoria Park festival. The American singer-songwriter is due to take to the stage on Friday 27 August, topping a bill that is still taking shape.

The announcement gives east London’s flagship festival its first big name for next year, and it lands just weeks after this summer’s edition closed. Bridgers, 32, has been announced as the opening headliner of the 2027 event, with further headline acts and support names still to come.

She arrives in the capital on the back of a strong year. Earlier in 2026 she released her third solo album, Lost Weekend, and the record gave her a first UK albums chart top spot. That chart breakthrough, alongside a run of hit singles, has put her among the most in-demand live acts heading into next summer.

Fans heading to Victoria Park will already know several of the names joining her. The support line-up announced so far includes Caroline Polachek, Kelsey Lu, Jasmine.4.t and Danielle Ponder, with more acts promised as the full bill is revealed. It is a deliberately varied undercard, spanning art-pop, soul and left-field indie, and it hints at the shape of the wider 2027 programme.

Bridgers’ own catalogue gives the day plenty to draw on. Her UK hit singles include Lost Boys, Lost Weekend and The Governor’s Waltz, while longer-standing favourites such as Motion Sickness, I Know The End and Waiting Room are regular fixtures of her live sets. Away from her solo work, she is also one third of Boygenius, the indie rock supergroup she shares with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, a connection that has only broadened her audience in recent years.

Tickets for the 2027 festival go on sale at 10am on Thursday 29 October through the festival’s official website, allpointseastfestival.com. As with previous years, demand for the Victoria Park dates is expected to be brisk once the full line-up lands, so early buyers will be watching for the next announcements.

The booking follows a busy 2026 edition of All Points East. This year’s festival featured two headline shows from US rapper Tyler The Creator, a set from New Zealand pop star Lorde and a performance from British singer Jorja Smith. Lorde was full of praise for the event afterwards, describing it as one of the best line-ups she had ever been a part of, while Tyler The Creator surprised crowds by bringing out rapper ASAP Rocky during one of his shows.

That recent history matters for next summer. All Points East has built its reputation on pairing huge headline names with carefully chosen support bills, and the Bridgers announcement suggests the 2027 edition will follow the same pattern. With one headliner already in place and four support acts named, the festival’s organisers have plenty of room left to build out the remaining days.

All Points East returns to Victoria Park for 2027, with the Bridgers date the first confirmed day of the festival. Organisers have said more artists will be announced soon, so the full shape of the summer programme is still to emerge.

Victoria Park remains one of the capital’s most popular open-air venues, and the festival continues to anchor the summer calendar for music lovers across London and beyond. For now, though, the focus is on a single date: Friday 27 August, when Phoebe Bridgers takes the headline slot in the east London park. More artists are set to be announced soon.

For other dates in the capital’s entertainment calendar, the Wiggles bring their live show to London at Easter 2027, while Hampton Court’s ice rink returns for Christmas 2026. Film fans can also follow Croydon’s film-past walking tour for another way to explore the city’s cultural side.
