The Wiggles are coming back to London next Easter, with two shows at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith as part of their biggest and brightest tour yet.
The Sparkle! BIG SHOW will play the Hammersmith venue on Monday 29 March and Tuesday 30 March 2027 — Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday — as part of a wider UK and Ireland tour running from 25 March to 10 April.
The tour takes in 10 cities across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, with stops in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dublin alongside London. It will be the group’s first tour in Ireland since 2017.
Anthony Field, founding member and the original Blue Wiggle, said: “For over 35 years, we’ve had the privilege of bringing families together through music, movement, and lots of Wiggly fun, and the welcome we’ve had from families has been incredible.”
He added: “It’s our biggest and brightest show yet, and we can’t wait to see thousands of families singing, dancing and sparkling together this Easter.”
What is in the show
The Sparkle! BIG SHOW promises immersive visual effects, vibrant costumes and plenty of chances for the audience to join in. At its heart is Sparkle!: A Circus of Lights, a new collection of songs designed to inspire creativity, movement and wonder.
The cast includes Anthony, his daughter Lucia, Simon and Caterina, Lachy and John, and Tsehay and Evie. They will be joined by the characters generations of children know best: Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword.
The viral Tree of Wisdom will also appear, whose dance routines have been watched more than 200 million times online.
Simon Pryce, the Red Wiggle, said: “From the moment the lights go down, we want families to feel like they’ve entered a magical sparkle world filled with music, colour and wonder.”
He added: “This will be one giant Wiggly celebration.”
Tickets and dates for London families
Tickets went on general sale at 10am on Friday 23 October through the group’s own site, priced between £18 and £38 plus booking fees. Newsletter subscribers had a pre-sale window from Tuesday 20 October to Thursday 22 October.
The group are marking their 35th anniversary this year, and the London dates underline how the audience has grown up with them: many parents who watched The Wiggles as children are now bringing their own children along.
For London families, the timing is handy. The shows fall in the Easter school holidays, and with two dates at Hammersmith there is some flexibility for anyone who cannot make the Monday. The Apollo is a familiar family venue, and the show’s mix of old favourites and new songs is designed to work for both first-timers and returning fans.
Anyone planning to go should book sooner rather than later: the London shows are part of a 10-city tour, and family shows over Easter weekend traditionally sell well. London and Dublin are the tour’s two capital-city stops, which underlines how big the London dates are in the schedule.
For parents, the practical details are simple: two dates, one familiar Hammersmith venue, tickets from £18, and a show built around audience participation rather than sitting still. Family shows are in demand across the capital next year, with festivals also returning to Alexandra Palace, so Easter 2027 is shaping up to be a busy season for young audiences.
The Wiggles’ longevity is the other half of the story. Thirty-five years on, the group are still drawing the children of the children who first watched them — and the London shows, with old favourites alongside new songs from Sparkle!: A Circus of Lights, are designed to work for both.
