M25 anticlockwise held after multi-vehicle crash near Clacket Lane

Published at 8:01pm

Traffic was temporarily held on the M25 anticlockwise on Monday evening after a multi-vehicle crash between Clacket Lane Services and Junction 5 for the M26.

The incident was first reported at 7.10pm on Monday 26 October, with all traffic held on the anticlockwise carriageway while the scene was dealt with.

No further details have been confirmed at this stage, including the number of vehicles involved, whether anyone was injured, or what caused the crash. It is also not yet known when the carriageway fully reopened.

Drivers heading towards the area are advised to check before travelling, as the situation on the motorway may change.

The M25 has seen a series of incidents this week, including overnight closures across four nights and the Dartford Tunnel crash earlier on Monday.
