Passengers travelling through London Waterloo are facing major disruption after a person was hit by a train.
South Western Railway services to and from London Waterloo are delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or cancelled, with major disruption expected to continue until 6pm while services recover.
All lines between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst were closed following the incident but have since reopened after the emergency response.
British Transport Police have been contacted, and a comment is awaited. Further details will be added to the live blog below as they are confirmed.
Passengers planning to travel on South Western Railway routes into and out of the capital are advised to check before they set off, as services may still change at short notice while the timetable recovers.
