King’s Cross is to transform for the festive season with a brand-new programme of winter attractions, including a roller rink, a Christmas market and an Aardman Christmas tree.
The programme, dubbed Christmas Remixed at King’s Cross, launches on 26 November 2026 and runs through various dates into the New Year.
Remixed Roller Rink
At the heart of the celebrations is the Remixed Roller Rink, which will be set up in Lewis Cubitt Square. The rink opens on 26 November and runs until 22 December, with sessions available from 11am to 8pm every day.
The 45-minute sessions can be pre-booked, with the booking link going live soon. The rink offers a twist on traditional ice skating, inviting visitors to swap skates on ice for skates on wheels, all while enjoying remixed classics, dancefloor favourites and festive hits.
A specially created Aardman Christmas tree featuring Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Morph will also be set up in Lewis Cubitt Square.
Christmas market in Granary Square
The new Christmas market will take over Granary Square, providing a unique festive experience in the heart of King’s Cross. It opens on 26 November and runs until 3 January, operating from 11am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and from 11am to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
The free-to-visit market will feature seasonal food and drink, independent makers, live entertainment and unexpected festive moments. Details about the trader line-up, food offerings and entertainment programme will be announced soon.
Festive season across the capital
The King’s Cross programme joins a packed calendar of Christmas attractions across London this winter. The Strand has installed 96,000 LEDs for its Christmas lights, while Lidl has opened its first Christmas showcase in Soho — with a new festive show landing at Greenwich Borough Hall.
