LIVE: Homes across south-east London are without water as Thames Water battles a series of burst pipes in Dulwich and Sydenham. Follow our live updates below.
The outage, now entering its fourth day, has left residents in parts of Dulwich and Sydenham with low water pressure or no supply at all since Saturday, October 11.
Thames Water has named the affected postcodes as SE21, SE22 and SE23. Engineers are currently working on Lordship Lane in Dulwich, where residents have reported no water or very low pressure.
The company said its teams worked through the night into today (October 14) and have installed additional equipment to stabilise the network. Water tankers are being used to pump extra water into the system.
Several bursts and leaks remain to be fixed. Crews are repairing burst pipes on Sydenham Rise near the Horniman Museum, with further repairs planned for Dulwich Common and the junction of Lordship Lane and London Road at Wood Vale.
Thames Water has warned that repairs are likely to take several more days. Customers in high-rise buildings may continue to experience lower water pressure during periods of high demand.
