An Erith family has launched a desperate appeal to find their missing brother, who vanished from the area almost a week ago.
William, known as Billy to friends and family, was last seen on Friday, 9 October. Police are now searching for the popular local, described as a “lovable” member of the Bexley community.
The 48-year-old previously worked at Morrisons and is well known in the area. His sister said: “He’s the most amazing, chatty, lovable person, and everybody knows him. All I want is for him to get in touch.”
Bexley Police issued an appeal describing William as 5ft 6 with a slim build, grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in the DA8 area.
“Please help us find missing 48 year old William from Erith,” a police spokesperson said. “Any information or sightings, please call 101/999 quoting ref 01/817509/26.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact police immediately on 101, or 999 if they believe he is in immediate danger.
