The Millwall West Ham derby ended in a 2-2 draw at The Den on Saturday, as West Ham fought back from two goals down in the first meeting between the south and east London rivals for 14 years.
Millwall led 2-0 at half-time through Taylor’s 16th-minute opener and Neghli’s strike on the stroke of the interval, but West Ham hit back in the second half with goals from Kanté (74’) and Mavropanos (80’) to claim a share of the spoils.

The 11.30am kick-off saw the hosts race into a commanding lead. Taylor broke the deadlock after 16 minutes before Neghli doubled the advantage on the stroke of half-time to send the home supporters into the break dreaming of a famous derby win.
West Ham, though, refused to lie down. Kanté pulled one back with 16 minutes remaining to set up a grandstand finish, and Mavropanos completed the comeback 10 minutes from time to rescue a point for the visitors.
The result leaves Millwall 10th in the Championship on 11 points from eight matches.
Ahead of the first meeting between the clubs in 14 years, the Metropolitan Police deployed 400 officers and secured a dispersal order around The Den. After the final whistle, South Bermondsey station was closed to Millwall supporters for up to an hour as part of the policing operation.
