Someone who bought a EuroMillions ticket in the London Borough of Bromley is sitting on a prize worth £256,117 and may not yet know it.
The ticket matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star in the draw on Friday 25 September. It was bought in Bromley for that draw, and the prize is still waiting to be claimed.
It was not the only life-changing result that night. In the same draw, a single UK ticket-holder landed the £111.7 million EuroMillions jackpot.
Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, is urging anyone who bought a ticket in Bromley around the draw date to check carefully, including old tickets tucked in pockets, bags and coat linings. Whether you were out in the borough’s green spaces, watching Bromley FC or on your usual commute, it is worth taking a moment to look.
How long you have to claim
National Lottery players have 180 days from the draw date to claim a prize. For this ticket, the deadline is 24 March 2027.
If you think you have the winning ticket, you can call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk. If you no longer have the ticket but believe you have a valid claim, you can still contact Allwyn in writing within 30 days of the draw to begin the claim process.
What happens if it is never claimed
If the prize is not claimed by the deadline, the money and any interest it has earned will go towards National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. Each week, players help generate around £33 million for those projects, and more than £53 billion has been raised for good causes since the National Lottery launched.
