A man has been rushed to hospital after a Lordship Lane stabbing in Tottenham on Saturday morning.
The stabbing happened just after 8.20am on Saturday 10 October on the north London road. The male victim was found injured and received treatment from paramedics at the scene before being conveyed to hospital.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to the incident and crews arrived in under six minutes. Ambulance staff treated the patient at the scene and then took him to hospital as a priority.
A response time of under six minutes meant the injured man was receiving professional medical care very shortly after the alarm was raised. Being taken to hospital as a priority indicates the case was treated as urgent by ambulance crews.
A crime scene has been established at the entrance to the Turnant Road junction off Lordship Lane, where the stabbing took place. The area has been cordoned off while the circumstances of the attack are established.
The London Ambulance Service said it was awaiting comment from the Metropolitan Police regarding the incident. At the time of publication, no further details had been released about the victim’s condition.
