A multi-vehicle crash has caused very slow traffic on the M3 near Thorpe on Sunday afternoon.
The collision happened on the northbound M3 before junction 2 for the M25 at around 3.42pm on Sunday 1 November.
Lanes have been closed as a result of the crash, and traffic is moving very slowly through the area.
Junction 2 is where the M3 meets the M25 at Thorpe, one of the busiest motorway interchanges in the south-east, so a crash on the northbound approach can quickly back traffic up — particularly on a Sunday afternoon when weekend return traffic is heavy.
Drivers heading northbound towards the M25 are advised to check live traffic before travelling and to allow extra time.
No details about injuries or the vehicles involved have been confirmed at this stage.
