Bridge Road in Beckenham is closed in both directions this afternoon after a collision near the railway bridge, with traffic building on the surrounding roads.
The road is shut between Blakeney Road and Copers Cope Road while emergency services deal with the incident, and drivers are being diverted around the scene. London Buses route 352 is also on diversion until the road reopens.
Motorists heading through this part of south-east London are advised to allow extra time and find alternative routes where possible.
