DJ Tim Westwood has been charged by the Metropolitan Police with two further offences as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged sexual offending.
Westwood, 68, of Westminster, has been charged with indecent assault and sexual assault.
It is alleged that in 1991 he indecently assaulted a teenage girl aged 16 to 17 in Hammersmith and Fulham, and that in May 2004 he sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman in Wandsworth.
The new charges are in addition to those brought against him in October 2025, when he was accused of four counts of rape, nine counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault, relating to seven women.
With the two additional charges, Westwood now faces a total of 17 charges involving nine women.
Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy, of the Metropolitan Police, said: “The women who have made reports have placed their trust in us, and we remain committed to providing them with all available support. Independent support is also available through Rape Crisis via its 24/7 Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Line.”
Westwood is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court at a future date in relation to the two additional charges.
A trial relating to the original 15 charges is scheduled to begin at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, 25 January 2027.
The Met has urged responsible reporting in line with guidance from the Attorney General’s Office, reminding editors, publishers and social media users of their obligations under the common law and the Contempt of Court Act 1981.
