Update: The closure followed a crash on Meridian Way, Edmonton, in the early hours of this morning. Emergency services were called to the scene at 7.01am today (27 October), and paramedics arrived within three minutes of the call.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We treated a patient at the scene and took her to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
Angel Edmonton Road (A1055) was closed in both directions between Meridian Water Station and Conduit Way, causing traffic delays and bus diversions. Services 192 and 341 were affected during the closure.
