Police have put a dispersal order in place around Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for tonight’s match against Coventry City.
A policing operation will be in place for the 8pm fixture on Monday, October 19. As part of the response, the dispersal order covers the stadium footprint and nearby transport hubs.
Under the order, anyone acting in an anti-social or disorderly manner can be dispersed from the area from 3pm until 1am on Tuesday, October 20.
Officers have been granted greater powers to move people on and prevent them from returning for a set period if they are found behaving in an anti-social or disorderly manner.
A Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) will also be in place in and around the stadium, prohibiting the consumption of alcohol in an anti-social manner in a public place. Alcohol may be seized and those breaching the restriction could be fined.
The measures come as Tottenham host Coventry City in Monday night football, with thousands of fans expected in the area.
