A collapsed manhole has blocked one lane of the A406 North Circular southbound near Redbridge this evening, with traffic building in the area.
The collapse was reported at around 5pm today (October 28). Traffic is building up at the A12 Eastern Avenue, near Redbridge Roundabout and next to Redbridge Tube station, with congestion also reported back towards the M11.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible while work takes place to resolve the situation. No reopening time has been confirmed at this stage.
