Mariah Carey’s festive Holiday Bar is coming to The O2 this November

Mariah Carey’s famous Holiday Bar is heading to London for the very first time, with the festive pop-up set to open its doors at The O2 on November 19.

The singer’s Christmas-themed cocktail bar marks its first international outing after two sell-out seasons in the United States, and promises to turn part of the Greenwich venue into a full Mariah-inspired winter wonderland.

Carey — long known as the Queen of Christmas — said the London opening would be bigger than ever.

“The holidays are my favorite time of year, and I love finding new ways to share the magic with my fans,” she said.

“This year, we’re making my holiday bars even more fabulous and bringing the celebration to more cities than ever before! Think festive cocktails, wall-to-wall sparkle, and plenty of surprises. I can’t wait for everyone to celebrate with us!”

Guests can expect festive décor, interactive photo opportunities and themed experiences, alongside a menu of holiday cocktails built around Carey’s own Black Irish cream liqueur in its Original, Salted Caramel and White Chocolate flavours.

Featured drinks on the menu include the Make My Wish Come True, the MC Toasted Tini and the Imperfect Angel.

The pop-up is a collaboration between the singer, event platform Bucket Listers and the Black Irish brand. Andy Lederman, founder and CEO of Bucket Listers, said the bar had “quickly become a beloved holiday tradition” and that going international would take it “to an entirely new level”.

The London date sits alongside seven American cities this season — New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Houston and San Diego — doubling the number of cities from last year.

The O2, already one of the world’s busiest live-entertainment venues, continues to expand its food and drink offer around its arena shows, and the festive residency is expected to be one of its standout winter attractions.

Londoners looking for festive plans also have plenty of choice this season — community fundraisers and local events are filling the calendar, while families can catch SEA LIFE’s gentoo penguins before their exhibit closes.

Tickets and booking details for Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar are expected to be announced closer to the opening date.
